Sample Supply Transparency
We believe our research partners should know where their sample comes from and how it's managed. That's why we're sharing our responses to the Insights Association's Sample Supply Transparency Questions. These responses will give you a closer look at how we recruit, verify, and manage our healthcare panel and the steps we take to maintain quality throughout the research process.
Universal Questions
These questions cover the core practices behind sample supply, including sourcing, verification, data quality, participant experience, field management, privacy, and data governance.
Capacity & Feasibility
Feasibility is evaluated on a project-by-project basis using the requested healthcare audience, specialty, geography (within the United States), anticipated LOI, incidence, quotas, and fielding requirements. Upon request, Enos can provide estimated completes at 100% incidence rate for each target segment.
Participant Pathway Transparency
Yes. Enos supplies sample from our proprietary healthcare panel. Participants are selected from the Enos panel based on the targeting requirements of each project and are invited directly to the survey. Enos does not use a survey router and does not outsource unless specifically requested by the client.
Yes. Enos sample comes directly from our proprietary healthcare panel. If an outside partner is used to supplement a project, we disclose that to the client and can provide a breakdown of where completes came from.
Enos uses unique participant identifiers and encrypted survey links. Link tampering is monitored, and links are restricted to the intended participant and survey opportunity both at survey entry and exit.
Duplication & Data Integrity
Enos uses encrypted, single-use survey links along with multiple deduplication controls to prevent repeat survey entry. These include IP and geolocation checks, cookie detection, digital browser fingerprinting, and real-time suppressions.
Enos samples are not blended or from multiple sources. The risk of overlap is not possible as registration/enrollment checks eliminate duplicated registrations. However, controls are in place as a failsafe. We strongly encourage full exclusion lists (ELs) and clean lists prior to sampling to systems where multiple sources have been used. Enos can suppress samples by IP, Name, Geolocation and NPI real-time.
Enos works with clients to review quality concerns and remove poor-quality completes when appropriate. Panel members who repeatedly provide poor-quality responses are tracked and will be removed from future survey opportunities under Enos's three-strikes policy. In the event of a survey removal, Enos will replace at no additional cost.
Identity & Eligibility Validation
Enos uses invitation-only recruitment from pre-validated healthcare sources and verifies identity and professional information before survey access is allowed. Validation includes NPI and known HCP data matching, email legitimacy, geolocation and IP checks, public and state license checks, anonymous IP/VPN/proxy detection, bot checks, and deduplication controls.
Ongoing validation helps identify changes in professional status, including NPI deactivation or licensing issues. To further protect survey integrity, survey links are sent only to verified panel members, with additional location and device signals monitored at survey entry and exit. Respondent identity is also supported through traceable payments. As part of this process, Federal 1099-NECs are issued to Enos members, and EINs/SSNs are collected and verified.
Enos is the only USA panel with 100% of all respondents verified/confirmed via NPI.
Enos uses profiled panel data and project-specific targeting to identify appropriate healthcare professionals before invitation. Additional screening requirements can be incorporated based on the study and client specifications.
Behavioral Fraud Detection
Enos monitors panel activity for signs of suspicious or poor-quality behavior, including duplicate activity, speeding, straight-lining, nonsensical responses, trap failures, and location inconsistencies.
Enos is a panel-only company and does not program or administer the client’s survey. We encourage in-survey fraud detection to be implemented when possible as a failsafe and take action against participants identified as providing poor-quality responses, including concerns related to suspected AI answers, professional survey-taking patterns and other anomaly detection.
Enos is a panel-only company and does not program or administer the client's survey. AI detection within open-ended responses is generally handled by the client’s survey platform or programming provider. Enos uses client feedback and panel-level monitoring to take action on participants identified as providing poor-quality responses, including concerns related to suspected AI use.
Automated Threat Detection
Enos is an opt-in and validated panel and only sources from our validated panel system. Threat detection is eliminated through the registration process. However, Enos uses automated/real-time controls, including bot detection, IP and geolocation checks, anonymous IP/VPN/proxy detection, encrypted links, digital fingerprinting, and deduplication to identify and block suspicious or automated activity as a failsafe.
Enos is a panel-only company and does not program or administer the client’s survey. Enos does not use AI as part of the interview or survey data collection process. Any AI used within the survey experience would be managed by the client, survey platform, or programming provider.
Participant Experience & Environment
Enos panel members typically enter surveys through direct invitations or their personal Enos portal. Invitation channels include email, text, direct mail, portal login, and push notifications. Enos does not use survey routers or open web intercepts.
Because Enos recruits verified healthcare professionals through direct, targeted invitations rather than open web intercepts or offer walls, we maintain visibility into the participant source and invitation context. Once a participant enters the client’s survey, the survey environment and any factors within it are managed by the client or survey platform.
Enos survey invitations include the survey opportunity, incentive, estimated length of interview, any necessary instructions, and a direct survey link. Invitations are kept general and avoid unnecessary project details that could introduce bias before the participant enters the survey. Invitation language can also be provided for review upon request.
Field Management
Enos monitors field progress and works directly with clients when production differs from the original assumptions. Depending on the cause, adjustments may include revising quotas or screening criteria, staged sample releases, geography controls, additional recruitment efforts, or other agreed-upon strategies to improve feasibility while protecting sample quality.
Enos supports soft launches and staged sample releases when appropriate for the project. The number of initial completes and review requirements are determined with the client based on the study. Full sample release can then proceed once the client confirms the project is ready to continue.
Enos is built around quick, personal service and a streamlined project setup. Once project requirements, survey links, redirects, targeting, and incentive details are finalized, projects can typically be launched within hours. Our team works directly with clients throughout setup to answer questions and keep the project moving.
Outcome-Based Quality Measurement
Enos monitors a range of panel and project quality metrics throughout fieldwork. Available reporting includes qualifying and completion rates, participant dispositions, participant activity and engagement, and sample removals.
Pre-Survey: Enos is an opt-in panel and does not experience Pre-Survey issues like duplicates or fraud rejections. These metrics are common among sample blending sources. These metrics are available but uncommon reporting items for Enos unless asked to blend sample sources.
In-Survey: Enos is a panel-only company and does not program or administer the client’s survey. Metrics are managed by the client or survey platform.
Post-Survey: These metrics are generally shared with Enos at the conclusion of fielding. Enos uses client feedback and panel-level monitoring to take action on participants identified as providing poor-quality responses.
Yes. Enos can provide project-level reporting and quality information related to its sample and panel activity upon request, subject to privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Privacy, Compliance & Data Governance
Yes. Enos maintains a publicly available panel privacy policy. It is accessible through the Enos Health participant website and is presented as part of the registration process. New registrants must acknowledge the applicable Privacy Policy, Terms, and Cookie Policy. The policy remains available to participants for review at any time through the Enos Health website and is included in every survey invite we send.
Enos operates exclusively within the United States. Applicable U.S. privacy, consent, healthcare professional recruitment, and compensation requirements are considered as part of project setup. Enos works with clients to identify and address any study-specific requirements before fieldwork begins.
Enos retains personal information only as long as necessary or required by law. Generally, information is retained while a participant has an active account and is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
Enos maintains participant profile and survey participation information for panel management and targeting. Enos does not program or administer client surveys and does not directly collect client survey response data.
Enos does not sell or share participants’ personal information with third parties. In the event of AEs, PII is only shared when explicit consent is granted by the survey participant.
Enos tracks participant activity across surveys, including participation history, response and engagement activity. This information is used internally to manage the panel, monitor quality, and provide relevant survey opportunities.
Panel members agree to the Enos Privacy Policy, Terms, and Cookie Policy when they register. Survey participation is voluntary, and members can update their information, withdraw consent, or leave the panel at any time.
Panel-Only Questions
These questions focus specifically on Enos's proprietary healthcare panel, including how healthcare professionals are recruited, verified, engaged, managed, and compensated.
Supply Composition & Sourcing Transparency
Enos sample is exclusively sourced from our proprietary healthcare panel. When requested or necessary to meet a client’s feasibility needs, we may supplement our panel with other providers with full transparency to the client.
Enos fulfills projects exclusively from our proprietary healthcare panel unless otherwise specified. The number of completes available for a specific project is determined during feasibility based on the target audience and project requirements. Clients can reach out to us or use our ListMatch™ tool to receive a feasibility report that includes the estimated number of completes.
When an outside provider is used to supplement the Enos panel, it is done with full transparency to the client. Clients have visibility into the sources used and the production from each source.
When multiple suppliers are used, Enos works with the client to determine how the target audience and quotas are allocated based on project requirements and feasibility. Clients retain control over the sources used and have visibility into production throughout fieldwork.
Recruitment & Panel Onboarding
Enos uses invitation-only recruitment from pre-validated healthcare sources, including hospital and medical directories, claims data, client lists, and verified healthcare internet sites. Recruitment is conducted through channels such as email, phone, professional conferences, and direct mail. Enos does not use open enrollment, web intercepts, affiliate programs, or referral programs.
Before joining the panel, each member’s identity and professional credentials are verified using NPI and claims data, professional licensing, specialty and practice information, email validation, and location and fraud checks. Potential members remain in a verification pool until their information is confirmed. Enos continues to monitor and revalidate member information after enrollment to identify changes such as NPI deactivation or licensing issues.
Panel Health & Member Management
Enos takes a provider-first approach to keeping panelists engaged. We focus on relevant, targeted survey opportunities, fair compensation even when a provider does not qualify, immediate payment, and responsive personal support. By respecting providers’ time and avoiding unnecessary oversampling, we work to build long-term relationships and keep our panel active and engaged.
Invitation frequency varies by participant profile, specialty, project availability, eligibility, and prior participation. Enos targets invitations to relevant healthcare professionals rather than applying a single invitation frequency to every panel member.
Enos members are allowed to adjust their invitation frequency (invites per day) and automated safeguards are in place for sample rest periods, unfair compensation rates and invite frequency.
Enos uses participant profiling, targeted invitations, participation history, staged sample releases, and project-level controls to reduce unnecessary invitations and overuse. We avoid unnecessary oversampling and use project-specific lockouts and exclusions when appropriate. Our provider-first approach helps keep research opportunities relevant and respectful of healthcare professionals’ time.
Panelists are selected based on validated profile information and the specific requirements of each project. Selection may include specialty, subspecialty, geography, clinical behaviors, quotas, and other project-specific targeting or participation restrictions.
Enos members are allowed to adjust their invitation frequency (invites per day) and automated safeguards are in place for sample rest periods, unfair compensation rates and invite frequency.
Incentives & Participant Compensation
Participant incentives are based on the survey opportunity, with clients setting the honorarium offered. Enos also compensates panelists $5 when they disqualify, recognizing the time they have already spent on the survey.
Enos pays panelists immediately through PayPal, Venmo, or paper check. This includes the full honorarium for completed surveys and applicable $5 disqualification payments. There are no points or redemption thresholds, and paper checks are mailed weekly.
Documentation
Enos survey invitations include the survey opportunity, incentive offered, estimated completion time, any necessary instructions, and a direct link to the survey. Specific project details are generally limited to help reduce self-selection bias. Invitation language can be provided to clients upon request.
Yes. Enos can provide detailed documentation of our panel and methodologies, including information on recruitment, verification, sampling, panel management, data quality, privacy, and participant engagement.
